In the last post, I told you about adding keyword to sites to open them easily!! Firefox has another cool feature called smart keyword. What is you want to search a website like wikipedia or google, you first go to that website & then enter the search term & then click search!! Now this is pretty long & this is where smark keyword come in help!! Using smart keyword, all i have to do to search google for techequal is type g techequal in my address bar!!This is really useful!!

To do this, first go to the required website & right click on the search box (i’m taking google):

Then click onĀ  ‘add a keyword for this Search’ & a box will show up:

Type in the name, keyword & add it.Remember we are actually bookmarking the search feature of google!!

I added the bookmark to a new folder called search to organise my bookmar. To create a new folder, click on the button with an arrow on it which is placed on the right side from where we select the folder for saving the bookmark & then click new folder button on the bottom-left corner!!

This can be done on any site which has a search bar in it, like wikipedia or even this blog!!!
