We all use twitter.But it can be a pain to go to twitter each time we have to tweet or read what people whom we are following have written.Its better to have twitter as part of firefox itself!!. Using Twitterfox firefox add-on, you can have twitter in firefox itself.

Twitterfox adds a small twitter symbol to the status bar.Clicking it opens a small window tab shows your tweets & a box to type your post for twitter.

Whenever someone that you are following tweets about something, you get automatically updated.You can read upto last 40 tweets in your twitter page inside the twitterfox tab itself.You can tweet in box itself so that you don’t have to always go to twitter.com for tweeting.You can even reply to others tweets just by clicking an arrow on the side of their tweet.Clicking on the replies button on the button gives the replies sent by other twitters to you.

Whenever you type an url, it is automatically changed into TinyUrl address as to recover space.This can be good if you don’t want to exceed the 140 letter limit of twitter but might be bad as people my think suspiciously about the link.But sadly you can’t change that setting!!

Overall, its a good add-on for twitter fans!!
