Whenever i want to watch a video i go directly to youtube for watching that video as youtube has a very huge collection of videos. However, there are times when that video is not available there and then i go to other video sharing sites such as myspace, dailymotion etc. Would it be great if we could have a single video search engine? This is where MetaTube comes in.

MetaTube is a search engine for video sharing sites and claims to search 100 sites at the same time.This can be very useful when we have to search many sites for a video and instead of going to each site & searching for the same thing it is better to just search in MetaTube.

MetaTube has a very simple interface.It consists of a search box & below it a list of recent searches.Just type in the video you want & click search.The search results open with results on the right side & list of video sites on the left side.The default results will be that of youtube & then you can choose which ever video sharing site you want from the left menu & MetaTube will show the relavent data on the right side.

MetaTube has a great list which includes common video sites such as YouTube, Google Video, AOL Uncut, Myspace, Veoh, etc & also some sites which i have never heard of like iKlipz, Jubi, Flukiest etc.

This site makes it easy for searching for videos over multiple video sites & is a must for bookmarking if you are into online videos.

Tweetake - backup your tweets & twitter settings

Twitter has been having lots of downtimes & there is a chance that your data could get lost.All you tweets, followers & even you account could be deleted.So why take a chance? Backup all you tweets, followers, favorites, friends using Tweetake.

Just enter your twitter username, password.Then choose what all you want to backup. If it is the first time that you are backing up your twitter account then choose everything. EyeDefender - Protect your eyes from computer

Many of us use computer for hours everyday. Now computer has become an integral part of our life.But every good thing has a bad side & for computer its the number of problems that it causes to our body especially our eyes. Computer Vision Syndrome(CVS) is one such problem.

CVS can cause eyestrain, blurred vision, delayed focusing, headaches, back and neck aches, dry and burning eyes, light sensitivity, distorted color vision, forehead heaviness, and sore eyes.The best way to avid CVS is by taking short breaks every hour while using computer. The difficulty lies in scheduling a regular break and keeping to it. For this problem is EyeDefender.

EyeDefender is a free rest remainder software that reminds you at certain interval to take short breaks.After you download & install EyeDefender, it sits in the system tray idle but reminds you to take a break every 45 minutes by default.

There are four ways by which the program can remind you :

1.Displays a predefined picture - A predefined picture is shown in front of you with a bar showing the time left for break to finish.

2.Runs the visual training to relax the eyes - various symbols & figures are shown moving in different directions to relax our eyes.

3.Runs a default screensaver - The default screensaver in your computer is run.

4.Displays a popup timed reminder in the system tray - A small popup shows up near the system tray asking you to take a break.

Right-clicking on the EyeDefender icon on the system tray displays the options where you can set how long the break should take, how long must the interval between breaks be etc.

Clicking on the settings option, options the software’s settings where you can change the time taken between intervals & duration of break up to 999 minutes.You can also choose by what way you want the program to remind you about break.

EyeDefender is free for personal use but you must purchase a license for commercial use.

EyeDefender runs on most Microsoft operating systems from Windows 98 to Windows XP and Windows Vista.

This software is a must have if you work for long hours in your computer.
